Budget Tracker

The budget tracker handles the reality of Lebanese weddings: expenses are usually split across multiple people the bride, the groom, and both families. Paperless lets you log every expense with a Paid By field and shows you the running totals for each side automatically.

What you can track per item

• Name "Venue deposit", "Zaher", "Photography balance"
• Category Venue, Catering, Photography, Videography, Attire, Flowers, Music & DJ, Zaher, Transportation, Honeymoon, Invitations, or Other
• Paid By Bride, Groom, Shared, Bride's Family, or Groom's Family
• Total amount and amount already paid
• Due date so you know what's coming up
• Vendor linked to your vendor directory
• Notes any extra context

Automatic side-split totals

Shared expenses (like the venue) are split 50/50 between the bride's and groom's totals. Items tagged "Bride's Family" roll up to the bride's side, and vice versa. You always see how much each side has contributed no manual math needed.

Live status per item

Each budget item displays one of three states:

• Paid fully settled
• Partial deposit made, balance pending
• Unpaid not started

Download your full budget as a CSV spreadsheet any time perfect for sharing with a partner or your accountant.

Vendor Directory

Your vendors aren't just names and phone numbers they're contracts, deposits, and deadlines. The Paperless vendor directory tracks every supplier in one card-based view, with quick actions for calling, emailing, and messaging them on WhatsApp.

What every vendor card shows

• Name and category Venue, Catering, Photography, Florist, Music & DJ, Zaher, Hair & Makeup, Attire, Transport, or Other
• Phone tap to call directly
• Email tap to compose
• Address for locations that matter (venues, cake shops)
• Total contract and deposit paid
• Balance owed calculated automatically

One-tap WhatsApp

Every vendor card with a phone number includes a WhatsApp button. One tap opens WhatsApp with their number pre-filled no dialing, no copy-pasting, no mistakes.

Track what you owe

Balance owed per vendor is calculated live: total contract minus deposit paid. As you settle balances, the numbers update. You never forget who's been paid and who's still waiting.

Timeline Checklist

The wedding checklist is the third pillar of the Planning Suite. On first use, it loads a 19-task default checklist built specifically for Lebanese weddings with each task's due date auto-calculated relative to your wedding day.

Customise everything

Every task is fully editable change the title, the due date, and assign it to a person (e.g., "Christina", "Andrew", "Planner"). Add your own tasks for anything unique to your wedding, whether it's a specific tradition, a thank-you gift order, or a family requirement.

Progress at a glance

A progress bar at the top of the checklist shows exactly how many tasks are done out of the total. Completed tasks move to the bottom of the list, and their titles get struck through so you get a sense of momentum as the wedding approaches.

Tap once to complete

Every task has a checkbox. Tap it, the task marks done, the progress bar updates, and it sinks to the bottom of the list. No forms, no confirmation, no friction.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Planning Suite included in every package?

Yes. The Planning Suite budget tracker, vendor directory, and timeline checklist is included with all three packages: Basic ($70), Premium ($80), and Full ($90).

Can I share the dashboard with my partner or planner?

You can share your login with your partner, or contact us about adding a second user. Multi-user collaboration is available on request.

Does it sync with my bank or payment apps?

Not yet. You log expenses manually as they happen but this takes about 30 seconds per expense, and gives you more control than auto-sync.

Can I export the budget to send to someone?

Yes. The budget has a one-click CSV export. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers, ready to share with anyone.

What if I don't want to use the default checklist?

You can clear it and add your own tasks from scratch. Or edit the defaults to fit your specific timeline. Nothing is locked.

Can I use the Planning Suite for a non-wedding event?

Absolutely. It works for engagements, birthdays, corporate events, graduations anything that has a budget, vendors, and a timeline.
