Custom Invitation Design
Our signature templates cover most weddings beautifully. But some couples want something that no one else has a design that reflects their own love story, their heritage, their colour palette, their aesthetic. That's what custom design is for.
What's included in a custom design
When you commission a custom design, you work directly with our designer (Christina) to create something fully bespoke. Every element is tailored:
Typography
You choose the exact fonts a Naskh Arabic pair, a French script, an Art Deco heading, or a mix. We curate 2–3 typography options during the design phase, and you pick.
Illustration & motif
Custom illustrated elements: botanical borders, geometric patterns, hand-drawn venue silhouettes, watercolour washes, or a personal motif that has meaning for you (olive branches for a Byblos wedding, cedar trees for a mountain venue).
Colour palette
We build your palette from scratch not just "rose gold" but the specific rose gold that matches your stationery, your florals, your venue's chair fabric. Pantone-matched if needed.
Animations
Custom animation triggers unique to your invite: petals drifting, stars twinkling, Arabic calligraphy revealing stroke by stroke, a cinematic fade-in of your couple's initials.
Music curation
Choose any audio track your first-dance song, an oud instrumental, a classical string piece. We handle the timing, fade-in, and mute controls.
Content structure
Your love story, your multi-event schedule (henna, katb ktab, reception), your personalised welcome arranged in a flow that tells your story naturally.
The process
- Discovery call (30 minutes on WhatsApp) we learn your style, colors, venue, and any must-haves
- Moodboard we send you 2–3 direction concepts (fonts, palette, illustration samples)
- Design draft you receive a full draft of your invitation as a live web page
- Two revision rounds you give feedback; we refine
- Delivery your invite is live and ready to send, connected to all Paperless features
The full process typically takes 5–7 days from kickoff to delivery. Rush timelines are available on request.
Everything from the standard packages included
Your custom-designed invitation still connects to the full Paperless platform. That means:
- Personalized guest links
- Real-time RSVP tracking
- WhatsApp bulk sending
- Table & seating management (Premium and up)
- QR check-in (Full package)
Custom design is an add-on you still need a base package from our pricing page.
What we don't do
To keep timelines realistic and quality high, we don't:
- Print physical cards (we're digital-only by design)
- Animate 3D scenes or interactive games
- Design for non-wedding branding (logos, packaging) that's a different service

How much does custom design cost?

Can I keep my custom design for future events?
Yes. Once commissioned, your custom design stays in your account and can be reused for anniversaries or other celebrations.
Can I provide my own illustrations?
Absolutely. Many couples commission an artist separately and hand us their artwork. We integrate it beautifully.
Do I need custom design to have a beautiful invite?
No. Our four signature collections (Ethereal Wedding, Rose Gold Elegance, Evergreen Nature, Royal Gold) are themselves designed and refined most couples find one that fits perfectly. Custom design is for couples who want something genuinely one-of-a-kind.
