WhatsApp Invitation Delivery
Almost every wedding guest in Lebanon uses WhatsApp. Paperless turns that into your biggest advantage one tap sends a personalized invitation to any guest, with their name, their link, and their table already filled in.
How it works
- You add your guests and their phone numbers (via Excel import or manual entry)
- You open your guest list, find a guest, and tap the WhatsApp button
- WhatsApp opens with a fully composed message ready to send including the guest's first name, unique invitation link, and your custom welcome text
- You tap Send. Done.
No copy-pasting. No composing messages one by one. No mistakes with names.
What's in the pre-filled message
- The guest's title and full name "Mr. Elias Khoury, you're invited..."
- Their unique invitation link one click opens their personal page
- Their table number (if assigned) visible on the invite
- Your custom welcome phrase you write it once, every message uses it
The message template is fully customizable. You can write it once in your dashboard settings and every future invite uses it.
Bulk reminders one click to all pending guests
Some guests will forget to RSVP. When that happens, the dashboard shows you exactly who hasn't replied. Hit "Send Next QR" or filter to pending guests and send reminders in batches each one pre-filled with a friendly nudge and their invite link.
No more "hey, did you see my message?" texts. Just a warm reminder that reaches the right people at the right time.
QR pass delivery
Once a guest confirms they're coming, you can also send their QR code pass directly via WhatsApp. Same one-tap delivery, but the message contains a link to their personal QR code for event check-in.
The QR pass message template is separate and customizable. You can include their table number, party size, and any other details.
Why WhatsApp beats email for weddings in Lebanon
- Higher open rate WhatsApp messages are read almost immediately, while email often goes unopened
- No spam folder WhatsApp delivers to the chat, not the promotions tab
- Guests can reply instantly if they have a question, they just message back
- Universally familiar everyone in Lebanon uses WhatsApp, from teenagers to grandparents
- Rich previews the link expands into a preview card showing your invitation's thumbnail
Multi-guest invitations
For families and couples, the invitation and message adapt. A single WhatsApp message can cover "Mr. & Mrs. Khoury & Family" with the correct party size and table assignment, so you don't need to send three separate messages to the same household.
Alternative delivery channels
Not every guest uses WhatsApp? You can also send their link via:
- SMS for guests who prefer text
- Email for formal colleagues or out-of-country relatives
- Direct link copy for sharing through any other channel (Telegram, Signal, etc.)
The link is universal it works on any device, any browser, anywhere in the world.
Frequently asked questions
Does this use WhatsApp Business?
No. Your invites go from your personal WhatsApp the same account your guests already know you by. No business verification, no unfamiliar number.
Can I send to hundreds of guests at once?
WhatsApp limits bulk sending for spam prevention. Paperless pre-composes each message, but you tap Send yourself. In practice, sending 100 invitations takes about 10 minutes.
Will messages be marked as spam?
No because your account sends them one at a time, and each recipient is a real contact you've added. WhatsApp sees this as normal personal messaging.
Ready to send your invites?
WhatsApp delivery is included in every package starting at $70.
